Manager, Business Development - Infrastructure Construction

Construction, New Business Development Manager - West Coast

Location: Remote with regional travel

Compensation: Base: $125,000 - $140,000 + Commission No Cap = OTE first year ($150,000 - $200,000+) plenty of room for aggressive growth in subsequent years.

This is a new frontier for a groundbreaking product line in a rich territory for a dynamic, technical professional in cutting-edge civil infrastructure construction solutions - Pre-Sales, Proposals, Lead Generation, Business Development.

Key Responsibilities:

• Generate new business opportunities in infrastructure construction throughout the territory
• Build relationships with municipalities, public agencies, transportation departments, engineering firms, and contractors
• Influence project specifications and adoption during planning and design phases
• Identify and pursue upcoming infrastructure and bridge projects
• Represent the company at industry events, conferences, and association meetings
• Deliver presentations and educational sessions to engineers, owners, and contractors
• Develop and execute regional growth strategies
• Maintain a strong pipeline of opportunities and track activity within CRM tools

Qualifications:

• 4-6+ years of business development success in the construction industry
• Strong network within infrastructure, transportation, bridge, civil, or heavy construction markets
• Existing relationships with municipalities, public works departments, engineering consultants, and contractors
• Proven ability to generate new business and open new markets
• Hunter mentality with strong relationship-building skills
• Excellent presentation and communication abilities
• Ability to travel throughout the region
